Build the
savage future
of audits

Remote-first team. Async work. Weekly ship cycles. Honest feedback. Help us slap every website on the internet into shape.

How we work

Four things we won't compromise on

Brutal honesty

We tell users the truth about their websites. We tell each other the truth about our work.

Remote-first

Work from wherever. Our team spans Pakistan, India and counting. Async by default.

Ship weekly

We ship to production every week. No 6-month roadmap meetings. Build, deploy, learn.

Take vacations

Unlimited paid leave. We measure output, not hours. Burnout is the enemy of good work.

We're a small team and hire opportunistically. If you're a hands-on engineer, designer or growth marketer who loves what we're building, drop us a line — we'll keep you in mind for the next role.

How we hire

There is no panel, no take-home that takes a weekend, and no whiteboard round. A first conversation about what you have built, then a paid short project on something close to real work — a scan agent, a page, a piece of the report pipeline — then a decision. We tell you where you stand at each step, including when the answer is no, because being told nothing is the part of hiring everyone hates.

What we look for

  • You finish things. A small shipped project tells us more than a long CV of started ones.
  • You can explain a trade-off. Most of this work is choosing which imperfect option costs least, then saying plainly why.
  • You are comfortable being wrong in public. We publish measurements about our own product, and some of them are unflattering.
  • You write. Async and remote-first means the written version is the real version.

What to send

One email, short. What you built, a link to it, and one thing about SlapMyWeb you would change — run an audit on your own site first and tell us what the report got wrong. That last part is the actual application; we read it before anything else.

Not hiring today.
Still worth knowing you.

If you want to see what we actually build before you write, run the thing on your own site.
