Scanned pages are images. PDF OCR can extract their words to a text file; it does not make the image directly editable here. For signatures, use Sign PDF; for blank form fields, use Fill PDF Forms.
What is PDF Editor?
PDF Editor lets you change selectable text in a PDF and organize its pages directly in your browser.
Open a file up to 100 MB, click a detected text line, replace or delete its wording, choose Helvetica, Times or Courier and adjust its size, style or colour. Reorder, rotate, delete, extract and insert pages before exporting a new copy. Text editing works line by line on PDFs with a real text layer. Scanned images cannot be edited as text here; the separate OCR tool extracts their words to a text file. The file stays on your device unless you deliberately start an optional AI action.
How to use PDF Editor

Open your PDF
Drop a file onto the workspace, or click to browse. The page rail on the left shows every page as a thumbnail, at your screen resolution.

Select the pages you want
Click a thumbnail, or Cmd/Ctrl-click to select several. The same selection is what the next operation acts on.

Edit and format supported text
Click a detected line on the preview. Replace its wording, keep the original font or choose Helvetica, Times or Courier, then set size, style and colour. Review the fidelity note after applying.

Reorder, rotate, delete, extract or insert
Drag a thumbnail to move it, or focus it and press Alt+Up or Alt+Down. Press ⌘K from anywhere to reach Rotate pages, Delete pages, Extract pages and Insert another PDF.

Undo anything
Ctrl+Z steps back through every change, not just the last one, and Ctrl+Shift+Z steps forward again. Close the tab with a document open and reopening the page offers to restore it.

Export the result
Click Export PDF. The edited file downloads to your device, and your original is never modified.
