Terms of Service

The agreement between you and SlapMyWeb. Plain English, no lawyer-speak.

Last updated: April 8, 2026

01.

Acceptance of terms

By accessing or using SlapMyWeb (the “Service”) you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the Service.

02.

Use of the service

You can use SlapMyWeb to audit websites you own or have permission to scan. You agree NOT to:

  • Scan websites without authorization
  • Use the Service for illegal or malicious purposes
  • Reverse engineer, scrape, or replicate the Service
  • Resell SlapMyWeb data without an Agency license
03.

Accounts

You're responsible for keeping your password secure and for all activity that happens under your account. Notify us immediately at [email protected] if you suspect unauthorized use.

04.

Subscriptions & billing

Paid plans are billed monthly or annually via Stripe. We offer a 14-day refund on first-time subscriptions, no questions asked. Cancel anytime from your billing settings.

Failed payments will trigger a dunning sequence; if not resolved in 7 days the account drops to the Free plan.

05.

Your content

You own the data you put into SlapMyWeb (URLs you scan, client info, branding assets). We claim a non-exclusive license to process it solely to provide the Service. We don't sell, resell, or share your data with third parties for marketing.

06.

Disclaimers

The Service is provided as-is. While we work hard to keep audits accurate, SlapMyWeb is a tool, not a guarantee of search rankings or site performance. Use the action plan as guidance, not gospel.

07.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, SlapMyWeb is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability is capped at the amount you paid in the previous 12 months.

08.

Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms occasionally. Material changes will be announced via email or in-app notification at least 7 days before they take effect. Continued use after the effective date means acceptance.
