What is PDF Compressor?
PDF Compressor re-renders each PDF page as a JPEG image at the quality you choose, then shows the actual file size before download.
This may reduce image-heavy PDFs, but an already optimized or text-heavy PDF can become larger. The exported pages are images, so their original text is no longer selectable, searchable or available to screen readers. Compression runs in your browser, and metadata cleanup is optional.
How to use PDF Compressor

Open a PDF
Click the upload area or drag in one PDF up to 100 MB. The file is read in your browser.

Choose image quality
Select High, Medium or Low, or use Custom to set resolution scale and JPEG quality. Lower settings can reduce size but may blur fine detail.

Choose metadata cleanup
Leave the metadata option on to clear the standard title, author, subject and keywords fields, or turn it off to retain them.

Process the PDF
Click Compress PDF or press Ctrl+Enter. Progress shows pages processed; the real output size appears after processing.
