AI visibility: are AI answers mentioning your site?

1 min readUpdated Oct 21, 2026

AI visibility

AI visibility checks whether AI answer engines mention or link to your site when people ask questions about your topic.

Where to find it

Dashboard → your site → AI visibility. It is only available for sites you own.

What it checks

You set a short list of questions a customer might ask. We put each question to two engines: Google Gemini (with Google Search grounding) and Perplexity. Then we look at each answer for your site.

  • Named means your brand or domain appears in the answer text.
  • Cited means your domain appears among the sources the engine links to.

Matching is plain text and domain matching, nothing more.

Questions must not contain your brand name

A question that already says your brand name proves nothing, so we reject it. Ask the way a stranger would.

Results are samples

Answers come from the engines' APIs on the date shown. People using the ChatGPT, Gemini or Perplexity apps can see different answers.

Plan limits

  • Free: 3 questions and one snapshot per site
  • Pro: 10 questions, checked weekly
  • Agency: 25 questions, checked weekly
  • Enterprise: 50 questions, checked weekly

Paid plans can also run one manual check every 24 hours.

Privacy

Results are visible only to the site owner. Only your questions are sent to the engines, nothing else about your account.
