Scan Failures

Common causes

• Site blocks bots — Some sites block automated requests. We respect robots.txt.
• Timeout — Very large or slow sites may exceed our 6-minute scan limit.
• Cloudflare/CAPTCHA — Challenge pages can prevent our crawler from accessing your site.
• Site is down — We can't scan what's not responding.

What to try

1. Make sure the URL is correct and the site is publicly accessible
2. Try again in a few minutes (temporary server issues)
3. If your site uses Cloudflare, whitelist our user agent or try scanning a specific page instead of the homepage
