PDF Page Numbers is a free online tool that adds page numbering to PDF documents. Choose from 6 positions (bottom-center, corners, top-center), 4 number formats, custom starting number, adjustable font size, color, and margin. Optionally skip the first page for cover sheets. Everything runs in your browser.

How to Use PDF Page Numbers

Can I start numbering from a different number?+
Yes. Set the Start Number field to any value. For example, start from 3 if your first two pages are front matter.
Can I skip the cover page?+
Yes. Check "Skip first page" to leave the first page unnumbered. Numbering starts from page 2.
What fonts are available?+
The tool uses Helvetica, a standard PDF font that renders consistently in all PDF viewers.
