Can I start numbering from a different number?+
Yes. Set the Start Number field to any value. For example, start from 3 if your first two pages are front matter.
Can I skip the cover page?+
Yes. Check "Skip first page" to leave the first page unnumbered. Numbering starts from page 2.
What fonts are available?+
The tool uses Helvetica, a standard PDF font that renders consistently in all PDF viewers.
Are my files uploaded?+
No. Everything runs in your browser. Your files never leave your device.
Can I number only specific pages?+
Not directly. Use our PDF Splitter to extract the pages you want, add numbers, then merge back.
Does it preserve existing content?+
Yes. Page numbers are drawn on top of existing content. Nothing is removed or modified.
