Frequently Asked Questions

How do I move a page to a different position?+
Click and hold a page thumbnail, then drag it to the desired position. Release the mouse button to drop it. Other pages shift automatically.
Can I move multiple pages at once?+
Currently pages are moved one at a time. For large documents, use the Reverse button to flip the entire order, or combine this tool with our PDF Splitter and Merger.
Are my files safe?+
Yes. Everything processes in your browser. No files are uploaded to any server — your documents stay on your device.
Does reordering change the page content?+
No. Only the page sequence changes. All text, images, formatting, and annotations remain exactly as they were.
Can I reorder a scanned PDF?+
Yes. The tool works with all PDF types including scanned documents. Each page is shown as a thumbnail regardless of content type.
What happens to bookmarks after reordering?+
Bookmarks that reference specific pages may no longer point to the correct location after reordering. Page content is fully preserved.
Is there a page limit?+
No hard limit. Documents with hundreds of pages work fine — thumbnail rendering just takes a bit longer for very large files.
Can I duplicate a page during reordering?+
This tool reorders existing pages without duplication. To duplicate pages, use our PDF Merger to merge the same file twice, then reorder.
