What is Anchor Text Checker?
Anchor text is the clearest signal you can send about what is on the other end of a link, and it is the only thing a person navigating by link list hears — screen readers can list every link on a page, stripped of the surrounding sentence.
In that list, "click here" seven times is indistinguishable noise, and an empty link is announced as simply "link". This tool finds the three failures that matter: links with no text at all (usually an icon with no label), generic phrases that describe nothing, and raw URLs used as text, which a screen reader reads out character by character.
