Does it preserve cell formatting?+
Yes. Cell borders, colors, fonts, number formats, merged cells, and conditional formatting are all preserved in the PDF output.
What about charts and graphs?+
Charts embedded in your spreadsheet are converted to the PDF as images, maintaining their appearance. Pivot charts and complex visualizations are also supported.
Does it handle multiple sheets?+
Yes. All sheets in the workbook are included in the PDF output, each starting on a new page.
Is there a file size limit?+
Yes, the maximum file size is 50MB. Most spreadsheets are well under this limit. Large files with many sheets may take up to 30 seconds to convert.
Are my files stored on your server?+
No. Files are processed in a temporary directory and deleted immediately after conversion. We do not store, read, or analyze your data.
Why convert Excel to PDF?+
PDFs preserve the exact layout of your spreadsheet, making them ideal for sharing reports, invoices, and financial data without risk of accidental edits or formatting changes.
Can I convert password-protected Excel files?+
Currently, password-protected spreadsheets are not supported. Remove the password protection first, then upload for conversion.
What about formulas?+
The PDF shows the calculated values (results) of all formulas, not the formula text itself. This is the standard behavior for printing spreadsheets.
