What is PDF Page Resizer?

PDF Page Resizer is a free online tool that changes the page dimensions of your PDF documents. Convert between standard sizes like A4, Letter, Legal, A3, A5, and Tabloid — or set custom dimensions in points. Choose how content fits the new size: scale proportionally, center on page, or stretch to fill. All pages are resized at once. The tool runs entirely in your browser, so your files stay private.

Frequently Asked Questions

How do I convert A4 to Letter?+
Upload your A4 PDF, select "Letter" as the target size, choose "Scale to Fit" mode, and click Resize. The content scales proportionally to fit the Letter dimensions.
What is a point in PDF dimensions?+
A point (pt) is the standard PDF measurement unit. 1 inch = 72 points, 1 cm ≈ 28.35 points. A4 is 595 × 842 pt, Letter is 612 × 792 pt.
Which fit mode should I use?+
Scale to Fit is best for most cases — it keeps proportions intact. Center is good when sizes are similar. Stretch fills the page but may distort content.
Are my files safe?+
Yes. Everything processes in your browser using JavaScript. No files are uploaded to any server.
Can I resize just specific pages?+
This tool resizes all pages to the same size. To resize specific pages, use our PDF Splitter to extract them, resize, then merge back.
Does resizing change the print quality?+
No. Text and vector graphics remain crisp at any size. Only raster images may appear slightly different when scaled up significantly.
Can I make a PDF bigger than Tabloid?+
Yes. Use Custom dimensions and enter any width and height in points. There is no upper limit.
What happens to margins when resizing?+
With Scale to Fit, content is proportionally scaled and centered — margins adjust automatically. With Center mode, original margins are preserved and excess space is added.
